Screws not coming out

Pulled open the iphone but one of the three screws that hold on the screen, one of the screws that hold in the main speaker and one that holds in the home button are not coming out. Granted I bought a 99p kit on ebay so i'm guessing it's the $@$*!& and too pointy phillips screwdriver... has anyone else had this problem/recommend me a decent screwdriver/ tell me to just give it up as i'm not nerdy enough for this stuff. Thanks :)
