I really liked my Acer C720 but one day it just would not turn on. When I press the power button, nothing happens. It should turn on anyway when I open it, but that doesn't happen either. The unit seems to charge according to the LEDs. But no go.
Any ideas?

Are you 100% sure it is not powering on and not the screen itself that is not powering on? Try hooking it up to another monitor or TV to see of it works. If this fixes it you need to replace the monitor. If not you are looking at a bad DC jack or video card most likely or ram. Either way these are all soldered onto the motherboard. It will need to be replaced. You can follow my guide for that.

Thanks for your answer. The LED's don't light up at all so I presume it is not the monitor. Where can I find the guide for replacing the motherboard?
