got coconut on the screen of my phone!

i just got a little bit of coconut oil on my phone but only on the screen nothing on the inside i still get notifications and the phone still turns on with the side button but my screen isnt working and i cant unlock my phone?? help what should i do without having to buy a new screen?:/
