Wattage of microwave used on iopener.
Was wondering if I had a smaller watt microwave if I should heat my iopener up for more than 30 seconds.

Hey OrangeTech, you would have to go more than 30 seconds if the microwave you are using isn't 1200W. This is the microwave iFixit prefers you to use. Follow this guide for more information.

Yeah ours seems to be 700 watts. Didn't want to cook the iOpener too much. Thanks!

Mine is 800 watts so 45 seconds should suffice yes? How long did you microwave it OrangeTech?
