need help badly with water damaged iPhone 5s thanks

Ive just been given an 2 weeks old iphone 5s but been in the drawer for 6 months after it got dropped down toilet and he put it in rice for afew days then tryed it and then chucked in drawer and bought new 1 and gave to me i opened it up and looked for corrosion and abit on top speaker that was it so took motherboard off soaked and cleaned with alcohol 99.9% and scrubbed the back abit in places like connectors and boght new battery and put together and nothing pluged into computer nothing so i got a donor phone and tryed that motherboard but still nothing and ive got 4 donor phones that work but sone are iphone 5 and diffrent conectors so useless but what else can it be im thinking the poer port or even the screen but i thought if it was tge screen it will still come onto iTunes but there is nothing so please can someone help me and put me on the right path thanks and hope to get help soon cheers

Thank oldturkey03 and ive replaced the logic board with 1 that i know that works and bought a brand new battery but and whats the emi shields is that the metal that is sodaed on the metal on the logic board if so no i never but it wouldnt matter if i put a working logic board on in replace and new battery and still nothing so i was thinking if it was the screen it will explain that it might have came on but i couldnt see it and the lighting port because it would pick up on itunes.am i right or way off as im getting a 5c that is icloud locked with no screen for parts so i can put the logic board in that 1 and plug into itunes and if works it aint the that so just waiting but also is the iphone 5 usb connection the same as the 5s or not cheers for you help im going to need a miralcle lol thanks

Im putting images on but there not coming threw but i am on my mobile but if i click the link you sent me on how to install images all my images are on there.soz but when i get on my laptop i will try to put images up on that cheers

Ive fixed my iphone5s as i predicted when i changed the usb flex cable and bought with all the bits on brand new the phone came on and everything worked but it did have another motherboard new battery and new usb flex cable and power flex which i didnt fit but the ysb was black inside but i was curious to see if it was just the usb flex put the orignal logicboard in and it worked apart from the lcd plug (16 pin i think was bent in places) But the phone came on my laptop saying install passcode which i knew but coukdnt put screen on so i put the other1 back in and screen came on and checked everything and all works fantastic but i havent got a sim so i broke my virgin 1 that can clip off from iphone 4s to a mini sim but it wont make calls or recieve but will facetime and imessage so im assuming this is the sim problem as this is for my iphone 4s so going to get 1 from virgin for a nano sim but with same number hoping this is the problem but im well happy brought a dead phone back to life after water damage and been in the drawer for atleast 8 months.thanks

Coco, this may truly be a logicboard issue. The phone should have come on with a charged battery, even if the lightning connector has failed. The rice (definitely a myth and absolutely useless) and the storing of a water damaged board are the biggest error in this story. Post some High resolution pictures of your board with your question. For that use this guide. When you cleaned it, you of course removed the EMI shields as well. Otherwise you have not cleaned your board properly at all. You also have to use a magnifying source and check for burned or lost components etc. Check for unoccupied solder pads etc. Be prepared to replace the battery and the lightning connector once more, if you are willing to go that route. Water damage is one of the toughest repairs since virtually any component may have failed.
