whenever I turn my laptop on the welcome screen does not come on. It just lights up and nothing happens. My laptop is fairly new and I paid a lot of money for it and I cant use it. Can you help me fix or replace it?

this just happened with my thinkpad check the screen with flash light if you see the start up screen with the light its the back light if not try the function key that switches between ex monitors to see if its stuck in that mode if not the next thing and the step im on is check the connection's the screen i hope this helps as i get further with mine ill let yha know mabey its the same thing.

I have the same issue but ever since I updated to windows 10 all my function keys don't work
