Can you identify the odd connection in the AT&T/Samsung Captivate?

The new Samsung Captivate (SGH-i897) has an odd connection that many are speculating maybe ground or antenna (with all the interest in cell phone antennas lately). Pictures can be found here

Is there any way you could possibly find out or explain what those connections are doing?

antenna would make sense - since most mobile phones are build some kind of clustered - the contacts on the pcb should led to the point of origina - and i gues it has something to do with the features of the phone:

Cellular Networks: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850, UMTS900, UMTS1900, UMTS2100

Cellular+Data Links: CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA

Bluetooth: Bluetooth 3.0

Wireless LAN: 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n

and of course AGPS

to get this all managed, you need antennas - and you need more than one for that ;-)
