My ps3 controller battery went dead then my charger broke and then my controller dropped then i got a new charger and now the controller wont turn on How can i fix this ?

You need original Sony USB cable that came with the console. Others might be too weak/feeble to get needed power to controller. If cable is working with some other controller, it doesn't mean it works for Sony.

well it do my dident start so do this open the controller and the start and other cable isent 100% forsed to the bord i did reatatch it and it wirks like new
and it works if it is the same cable i have many well if it fit it works

there is a tiny hole on the underside of the controller, very near where your left index finger would normally point to. There is a reset button under there. Plug in the controller then use a toothpick or what not to push the reset button, and it should start charging.

still didnt work
well is the mainbord fored on the buttouns controller cable it sore some reason charge if the buttons arent in place enuf and the battery is a wireless support but if like mine forgot were i put the battery it can still run on cable like PS2 do so thats why it cant start :-/ well hope this help ya out

easy sony made me a bit upset when i opend my 3 controller that stopt do anything turns out sony made the bord work if the keypad is forced on it if a bit not it whont do anything try aline it again and hold it and have power in it too and if you forced it right it start all 4 red led lights and you have it working like new hope this is the same that happend to you its a cheap by sony but its not worth pay for reset the cable when you can do it yourself

I have the same problem, but when I was playing my controller did'nt work anymore when I wanted to charge it WITH the original USB controller. HELP PLEASE!

its the sony who made a stupid idea if the start buttuns cable arent tutching it good it whont let it charge or start force it down and have the usb in it and see if it starts flach red oh and battery isent nedded to work cuz it works if the cable is in

If the light don't come on the controller when you hold it and you know that's supposed to turn on even though it's dead and then even if it's all deleted I charged it for 2 hours still don't come off what's wrong with it and how do I fix it

try charging it overnight or however long it takes then try to just press the ps button

My PS button doesn't even work have reset it, hv done everything possible buh its still not working.. I need help now
un skrew it and take the mother board out check it out nothing wrong then get a new controler or get a new battery for the cotroller and bip boom bam done
