No matter what I do my screen will not respond to touch. The phone itself seems to be working just fine but when trying to use the touch display it is non-responsive.

If your screen is non-responsive, you should check if it is either broken or dirty. If it’s broken, it should be replaced. We highly recommend to do it through a certified supplier or retailer. On the other hand, if the screen is dirty, you should swipe it with a microfiber tissue in order to remove any grease or water that could interfere with the touchscreen correct operation. Refer to the Troubleshooting Page at www.ifixit.com/Wiki/HTC_Evo_3D_Troubleshooting for more details in order to fix this issue.

Matthew Pope, sounds like a bad digitizer. Use this video to replace it. Complete assemblies are available at places like this and the digitizer only, on here.

If you drop the phone and the screen brakes then you need a new digitizer and to find a person who knows how to put it in its not easy
