When I plug in my earphones into my ipod, I can't hear anything from it. The earphones themselves are fine. They work on my computer. Occasionally I can hear something from my ipod for a few seconds but then it stops. It used to be that if I twisted the jack enough times it would work. Now even that doesn't work.

I had a problem with my earphones like this once and i tried to find a way to fix it and I did. Check to see if their is something stuck inside the earphones slot. Or it is time to get a new Ipod. I am sorry if you have to get a new one. I hope this helps.
