My power cable pin is burnt

hi frnds.... my hard drive is of 250 gb sata .segate.... the power cable pin of the hard drive is burnt(i think due 2 loose connections)....is any where can i fix it and get it into work...or should i buy new one...please answer me frnds....

please check to see if your drive is a SATA or IDE/ATA

If the connections are badly damaged such that cleaning is not possible, then the connector will need to be replaced. Doing that may be a bit tricky without the proper soldering tools, however. Another possibility is to replace the entire drive circuit board with that from an identical model. Like Eric said, also be sure to check and make sure the cable is good, or else you may cause more damage.

It is most likely burnt because of a poor connection. Clean the pins/plug, and make sure they make good contact, and the drive maybe it is salvageable.

If you replace the drive, be sure to clean the plug/cable, and that it makes good contact or you may have the same failure again.
