Audio distortion with headphones?
When I plug in my headphones the audio is choppy and distorted.

The audio could be choppy due to bad headphones or a bad audio jack on your device. Try plugging your headphones into another device you know works or another set of headphones into your device. If the sound continues to be choppy with working headphones, replace the device's audio jack. See troubleshooting guide here.
