After using the screen replacement guide and putting in a new screen, the screen won't turn on but the camera does. I press the power button and the camera still makes the start up sounds and the lens opens up. Help?

izzat is right. When reconnecting the ribbons to the component parts, it is fairly easy to let one slip under the radar. Just make sure they are all in good form and reconnected in a secure fashion.

try check the connector to board. you possibly have some loose cable
