The Magellan RoadMate 1440 is a portable GPS navigation unit with an LCD color touch screen. It was released in March 2009. It is identifiable by checking the model number listed on the label on the back of the device. It has an SD card slot on the top and a small USB connector on the opposite side. The device is only available in black.

First, you should be sure that your device is charged and the charger does not show any signs of wear or malfunction.
