3 Why is my laptop over heating and hindering performance?
My laptop is extremely hot and has slowed down drastically.

It is most likely due to a build-up of dust inside the laptop. Try taking the bottom panel off of the laptop, and then using a can of compressed air to remove any visible dust.

Another thing that would cause your laptop to over heat is that it is not placed in a right position. you always have to keep your laptop on a flat surface especially when you are going to use it for continuous hours.
