What do I need to buy to add a 3.5 HDD

What do I need to buy to add a 3.5 HDD

Hello,

I own an iMac 27" 2011 that I bought with a single 256 Gb SSD.

I opened the iMac and noticed that the SSD is actually located under the optical drive and that there is a large empty space in the middle (where the 3.5 HDD should reside).

So, excepting a 3.5 drive, what would I need to buy (and from whom ) to be able to add a 3.5 HDD in that empty room ? (Brackets, power and data SATA cables, heat sensor cable ?)

Hi Ben,

It is a 3.4 GHz (Core i7) iMac Intel 27" (EMC 2429)

Thank you for your answer but this is not what I asked.

I do not need a guide and already bought the Western Digital drive.

Now I need to know where I can buy the missing parts for mounting the drive (bracket, power and SATA cables).

thanks for replying, hope this helps as ive used this site below. but ive also used ebay when out of stock and used the correct terms to make searches easier.
