I inadvertently placed a jar with paper label into dishwasher. Part of the paper label washed off. Now there is standing water over the screened drain. Will this resolve itself after many washings? I tried pouring white vinegar into the dishwasher to see if this would help dissolve the paper and drain properly.

Stick your hand in the water by the drain and get the label out.

Actually used a bottle brush to see if any debris was there. Thanks for your answer.

it should, but I would try one of those dishwasher cleaners to speed up the process.

Thank you David for your answer. Please recommend a dishwasher cleaner that would remove/flush out paper pieces.
I used Afresh tablets a few times, but there is still standing water in the screened drain area. The dishwasher operates and cleans the dishes as normal. Just have the standing water which shouldn't be there.
