Why is intermittent sound coming from HDD

Sometimes a sound like 'tch tch' comes from my HDD and the system freezes and them blue screen appears. I replaced the HDD. But still it happens occasionally. What could be the problem.

If the HDD was replaced and the problem persists, check your PSU ;)

A couple of days back I replaced the PSU and my system is working fine now. Extreme thanks , Mr.Thomas.
