hi, all. I have a note 5. I replaced the LCD on it for a customer and a few months later it turned off and didn't turn back on. I opened the phone and it turned on everything works great but as soon as I put the screws on it doesnt turn on. any ideas why?

@hamied sounds like it gets shorted out. Check all your screws to ensure they are appropriate for where they go. Check the traces on the board around the screw holes for damage. You'll need a microscope for that.

All the screws are the same size. Its like an S4 when it's a 3G model and you put a 4g LCD with frame on it and when you put the screws on it it won't turn on. But this was without frame the LCD replacement.
@hamied Samsung Galaxy S4 3G model as in i9500 and 4G model as in i9505 correct? The screen shouldn't be used on each other IMO for those. Sounds like maybe the screen or board is getting shorted by the frame somehow.
That's what I think. But the note 5 LCD was without frame so its its own frame. ( S4 was an example ) I put all the screws back in except 2 of them which caused the issue. Think the logic board was damaged as it looked like someone stabbed the phone when I got it. Logic board looks new though. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Very strange.

make sure they are the correct sizes, i.e dont mix up S3-S5 screws with S6-S7 screws some pictures here of the length of each and what happens if you mix them up .
