Where is the sound card located? I can't hear any sounds.
Hi, the sound of my Macbook is not functioning at all. This started to happen when someone tripped over the cable of the Macbook causing it to fall from a small table. Just in cases I reinstalled the operative system but it doesn't seem to be a software issue.
I checked for disconnected plugs and cables in the logic board (both sides) but that didn't helped. Does anyone know if there's a sound card somewhere in the board? or if it might be a cable that i may have missed that makes the sound function properly.
Thank you very much in advance.
PS: if it is of some help the serial number of the computer ends in DTY4
PS2: No input/output devices found appears in the sound preferences, same with audio midi setup
