I searched this on the web once cause I wanted to know how long it takes to charge and it said that an iPad will take five to seven hours but my phone takes an hour so I think ur phone is probably has something wrong with it or it's the charger

All devices are different.
The iPad uses a significantly larger battery than your usual phone. Sony Xperias however support 2.1 Amp charging like iPads do. Should definitely take about 1-3 hours max from flat.
Possibly a damaged charger port? Have you tried another charging cable and wall charger adapter?
