Samsung WB1100F is a digital camera with the ergonomic feel of a traditional DSLR, but also the ease of use of a point-and-shoot compact. The WB1100F has a 16.2MP CCD sensor with a sensitivity range of ISO80-3200 and a 35x optical zoom lens with a focal range equivalent to 25-875mm (in 35mm-camera terms). The WB1100F was released in early 2014.

screen says zoom did not operate properly and camera will not operate

camera will not turn on. screen says,zoom did not operate properly,remove battery and try again,nothing happens.

The zoom may be stuck. Try forcing it to move without damaging anything.

Hello cpcal73, my camera has the same problem, I emailed Samsung directly and they answer me. They said it maybe a weak battery, or my charge cord is not working. My battery is not charging, and I have a brand new battery, so I know it's not the battery. I've tried several cords, and none of them work, so it must be something internal. If you contact them, they will respond. They responded to me in two days. They said it could be repaired, but didn't mentioned how much.
