if the lights are blinking in a pattern, this may indicate a trouble code. depending on the age of the set, i would suggest logging onto the mfr. website and down load a service manual. the site may a have a forum where your problem is discussed. also check out you tube for your problem; i'm sure you are not the first person to have this problem.

Hi,
Is there a pattern to the blinks or are they continuous, e.g. 2 blinks - pause - 2 blinks pause or something similar etc?

Have you checked the power supply? Normally a blinking power led suggests you have some bad capacitors.
