Panasonic Viera TC-P50V10 doesn't turn on, blinks.

My TC-P50V10 won't turn on anymore.

When I plug it in, the red light turns on, and 2 seconds later, it turns off.

It then starts blinking. I started counting the number of blinks, but once it got past 100, I stopped counting...

A few days ago, when this issue started happening, I was able to reset the tv by holding the power button for 60 seconds. That process worked a few times: I was able to turn the TV on. As days passed, that process became more and more unreliable. Now, nothing I try works. I've cleaned the fans too.

I've included pictures, please take a look. I added a grid to the pics hoping it would help you communicate which components I should test:

@vieraproblem I wonder if your 100+ blink is really just one continuous blink:-) That error could be STB 5V Sense Time Out. If you do not get the standby voltage of 5 Volts from the P-board, then you do not get anything. Check your A board for that. That is the board with all the input connectors. Attached image shows you the board and their names.

. I would suggest that you start by measuring the voltage outputs from your P-board to the A board. P25, P7 and P6 are the ones you want to start with. Let us know what values you get. Remember that those are DC voltages, set your meter accordingly. Right now the chance are pretty good that you will need to replace the A-board.

Update (01/22/2017)

Looks like you are definitely having issues with your boards. Attached image shows what the voltage on P25 and P6 should be.

here is one more way to determine which board to replace:

Ok thanks, what do you suggest I try next?

Ok this is going to be a toss up between A-Board and P-Board. I think I'd go with A and replace that

It isn't possible to replace just the faulty component? I have to replace the whole board?

tarafından

It'll be a lot easier and a far higher rate of success since it will still be difficult to determine which component has failed. If you want to do some further trouble shooting download the SM from here. it has the schematic you would need to measure the components etc.

Well, the A Board costs $150 on eBay. I probably won't replace it, and will just throw the tv away. Thank you for your help, I learned some things during this investigation. :-)
