frozen screen from update. home button in assecability mode at time

My iPhone went down on an Update from Apple. A continuously shows the white screen with black apple I cannot turn it off. I have to wait for it to go dead to power it down my home button was broke about six months prior and I have been using the accessibility mode. With on screen home use. Obviously with the screen down I don't know where it is on there to press that in the power button. I have put it onto iTunes and again it needs to have that home button. I do know the password but I'm unable to get to that point. I've only had the iPhone for about 4 months. It was working great before.

I have since had home button repaired still have no way to take it off Accessibility mode

So is the actual home button now working? Are you stuck on Apple Logo or just trying to turn off Assistive Touch? Confused on what you need help with.

If you are stuck on Apple Boot Screen and if the actual Home Button now works follow these instructions; (All data will be erased, but at least the phone will work)

  1. 1. Open iTunes on your computer, plug the Lightning Cable to the USB port in the computer and leave ready for connection to the iPhone.
  2. 2. Press and Hold the Power Button and the Home Button at the same time, until the screen goes black, then let go of both.

# 3. Once the phone is off. Hold the Home Button and plug the charging cable in to the phone. Do not let go of the home button until you see the iTunes logo, you will also hear the computer detect the phone.

# 4. In iTunes, click Restore or Restore and Update, depending on what pops up. After it finishes the restoration, the iPhone will be on a white "Hello" welcome screen.

Now you can use the phone as normal.

home button does not work

Get the home button fixed. It really does not cost that much to get fixed.

If you are worried about the HB cost tell a shop you mostly need the phone working, not just the HB The cost could be less for a software restore than a HB install.

Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you said you got the HB replaced. I agree with Cameron, you can have a local shop do the restore using a button in their inventory, since the button is needed to get to the restore or DFU screen.
