Can I use AC Power Adapter 110Vac~220Vac to convert power supply input

i incidentally plugged my sony icf c1t clock radio with 110Vac input power supply to a 220V ac source power supply, unit is dead..could there be a way to fix it? i want try to convert power input to 220Vac but dont have the schematics. Any idea will be much appreciated..thanks.
