A processor upgrade is incredibly difficult and requires lots of experience to preform. Not to mention it is very hard to find processors to purchase online, and you need to make sure they are reliable. It is also very costly, you're probably better off working with what you have (eg. maxing out ram and installing better HD) or just buying a new computer.

Agreed. With the high cost of processors, extreme difficulty of procedure, and low cost of Mac minis ($600 new), it's really not worth it. But if your mini still works, it makes a great gift!

Or a Home Server! Processing power doesn't matter as much there.
