losing water out of back engine
losing out of back engine
Bu iyi bir soru mu?
Have your freeze plugs checked. If the engine has frozen with insufficient anti-freeze there are plugs built into the engine that will pop out to avoid damage to the block.

It could also be leaking from the connections to the vehicle's heater core.

I was a Chevy tech for 20 yrs...couple of areas to look.
There could be a connector at the rear of the intake manifold that connects a metal pipe from the manifold to the heater core. Those get corroded over time and can leak.
Also the intake manifold gaskets themselves can leak in that area too.
You can rent a coolant pressure tester from the parts store and pressurize the system to locate the leak.
Hope this helps

thanks. the heater core leakage is probably the answer. My heater is working only on and off. Thanks

If it is leaking out of the back of the engine, it is probably the freeze-out plugs as mayer stated...low coolant will cause the heater to work intermittently or not at all. Check closer before you get the heater core replaced.

where in the back is it leaking? Within the bellhousing, above it or the sides of the engine toward the back? How much water is leaking out, how often do you have to replace the fluid? Need a little bit more info to give you a better answer since there are plenty of opportunities for leakage. Thanks
