veronica, Find below a guide showing how to disassemble the 3GS so you can change the logic board yourself. 2nd link is a logic board for $6.99. If not wanting to do the repair yourself have a good computer/cell phone repair shop have a look and estimate repair. Good luck.

George Abraham, not till I had answered it, but it was answered inappropriately I felt and obviously some body was looking perhaps for info. on the subject or it would not have presented itself for me to answer. Thanks George keep up the good work I have noticed you doing.
