Lenovo Tab s8-50 Wont turn on

My tab is not rooted, and I did a system update, during the update, tab died and wont turn back on. Here are the things i've tried: (all test where done with 30min - 1 hour or charging time in between)

- Power Cycles (plugged + power btn 20+ secs, etc etc.) - no go

- Removal of power ribbon + power button then connect to charger - no go

- Vol + power conncet to PC - no go

My hope was to flash it with the latest rom from Lenovo, but my tab cant be detected by the PC.

Been 3 days working with this, Any help please?

Did you try a factory reset? ‘Course you will lose everything in the process, but you may get your tablet back…

  1. Power off your Tablet.
  2. Press and hold Volume up and Power button at the same time until you boot into the Android system recovery. ...
  3. Choose Wipe data/Factory Reset with your volume keys and then press the power button to confirm.

When the tab is not turning on then how he will do factory reset

Did you try it? The system still monitors for button presses, yes?
