Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge turned off and will not power on

While my phone was charging (Battery level 70%) I unlocked it to respond to a quick text and all the sudden the phone turned off without notice. I tried to power it back on by holding down the power button, but that did not work. I then tried to preform a hard reset on the phone, but that yielded no result. It has been 2 days scince the incident, and whenever I try to charge the phone the back area near the camera heats up to an uncomfortable level so I have stopped trying to charge it out of fear of damage. I have had the phone for about 2 years, I have never dropped it, the phone has never been in any contact with any liquids. Any ideas on why my phone is refusing to turn on?

I have the same problem. Is there any working solution for this?

I think that it is a battery problem so you should try to replace the battery or just open the phone and try to see if anything has gone wrong inside of it

I get this issue a lot, Sounds like it could be a battery problem. Can you see anything on the screen when you have it on charge?

No, absolutely nothing. The phone is completely unresponsive despite me trying to power it on.

Are you able to try and hold the power and volume down button, do you see anything?

tarafından

At the moment no. But the power, volume and home buttons seem to be working fine.

tarafından

You need to hold volume down + home + power for like 10 seconds to hard shut off the phone then try turning it on again if you haven't already.

Just tried it, no response.

I just removed the first four of 5 posts I looked for SPAM AND STOPPED LOOKING. Kaye you may want to go back and police your own posts.

@mayer Hello sir, you are right, I admit mistakes. But there are two links to my website is about how to fix the issues , why remove it? Here is a place to help others fix their problems, am I right?

Your answers are appreciated. But I'm not the only one who noticed you using the site for self promotion. Here's a link to the Meta site on this: https://meta.ifixit.com/Answers/View/100...

We admit your answers are helpful and would like you very much like to to continue with the site. But we are all volunteers here and many of us have our own businesses. You were getting out of line and got your hand slapped for getting in the cookie jar. Don't get offended. I'm just doing my job as a moderator. You know what you were doing. My job was to get your attention and let you know it was unacceptable to the rest of us. Improvise. adapt and overcome. If a link to information on your site is the ONLY answer, OK. But you were getting brazen about it and now you may be more careful ;=) No permanent harm done.

@mayer Thank you. I 'm very sorry about this. I'll won't leave a link in the answer. One more question, should I delete the link in the profile? Look forward to hear from you. Thanks again.
