Tried installing only Windows, cub linux, android, and ubuntu. My computer won't boot from any other os except for mac os. I can boot from cub linux if i use boot from first hard disk option from the cd i can load a differen't os. Do I need a different bootloader? If i do, how would i download and install one.

Boot Camp -- Apple's technology for multibooting systems -- only supports Windows. If you want to boot into other OS's then you probably want to look into rEFInd: https://sourceforge.net/projects/refind/
Otherwise, there's always hardware virtualization.

I swapped the HDD out with one from my other macbook. They all work fine now. What was the problem?
