I'm replacing the rear camera lens on an iPhone 6. The replacement parts included the rear lens, the small bracket that sits inside the phone on the camera lens and a diffuser. Can anybody please tell me where I'm supposed to install the diffuser? I looked at the replacement guide but it says nothing about the diffuser.

I have done many camera lenses repaira and I have never used or had an «diffuser».
So from my point of view its not a part that is needed. The original camera lens doen not even have the diffuser. Thros it away would I say.

That's okay. I kind of had a feeling it wasn't necessary but having someone respond to confirm my suspicions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
