Stuck in deeper dfu-mode

Hy everyone!

Got an Iphone 6 plus from a friend witch fell down on the floor and broke the screen and battery.

Got me a replacement for the battery and now i am stuck in the dfu-mode.

If i connect the phone to the pc, itunes say's that it found the device and need's to restore it. And then it tell's me that there is no software for this device available.

The update button is greyed out.

Itunes is up to date!

I think it could be a hardware related problem but i don't know where to start.

I could try to heat up some parts of the logicboard.

But what...?

download reiboot and see if it will take it out of dfu

you could also try 3utools.com, download it, take it out of DFU and try to update it there. What is the current IOS on it? Are you using Vista or windows 7 or 10?

Allready tried Reiboot, it doesn't recognise the phone as connected...

I am using win 10 64, and i don't know that was on there. My guess is ios9.

The main problem is i can't get out of dfu mode. And i don't see any apple logo because of broken screen. 3utools tells me i have to press that buttons i allready did.

if in DFU mode, even having a working screen would not show an apple logo as DFU will not show anything but a black screen. What message is 3Utools giving you exactly?

First, I would try to reset/flash it and see if successful. It should kick you out of DFU mode during the flash...but either way will need to get a working screen to continue with setup if successful so you can see the progress.

waiting for idevice and something like device not supported/ unsuported hardware

Hmmm....I have not ran into that before so I guess I hit a roadblock with you, but hopefully someone will pick it up from here that knows what is going on. Just curious, have you disconnected battery, then remove the screen. disconnect back camera too and all flex cables except the charging port. Reconnect battery and then connect back to 3Utools or Itunes and try from there?

I honestly don't know either...unless you have a corrupted NAND and it needs reprogrammed with Naviplus. I will wait to see what others think as I have not experienced this before and don't want to misguide you

have you turned off find my phone in icloud

The phone is definitely not in condition to communicate with any server..

at least that one thing i know

You can still log into icloud.com from computer and delete the device from your device list to turn off find my iphone. Im not sure if it will make a difference or is somehow stopping you from restoring due to the security, but worth a shot
