The music on my iPod won't go past 0:00

For some reason whenever I try to play a song, the music bar is stuck at 0:00. I've tried so many options. I've tried resetting, restoring, and reformatting. I even replaced the hard drive and that still did not work. Does anyone know what else I can try?
