Why does my phone restart when I try to uninstall any apps?

Any apps I try to uninstall cause my phone to restart. As soon as I drag the app to the uninstall icon, or if I try uninstall it manually from the list of apps, as soon as I click uninstall, the phone restarts.

About 2 months ago it fell into a bucket of water; not sure if this would have something to do with it.

Sound like a software issue, would reccomend backing up any important picture and files and performing a factory reset
