Hi,

What OS is installed in the laptop?

Have DVDs worked OK before on this laptop?

If not have you got a DVD drive installed or a CD-ROM drive installed? Check the drive's plastic cover to see what it says.

If so have you tried another DVD to see if it works OK?

Do you get sound when the DVD plays?

Does the DVD drive work OK when you insert a data disc, (CD or DVD)?
