Where can I put tinfoil to boost the wifi signal in the iPhone?

Hey guys so I have a very week wifi signal on my 6 but I can't replace the wifi antenna right now so. Is there a way to put tinfoil under a screw to boost the signal.

I know this sounds a little tinfoil hatie and all but this was something you could well do on the old 4 and 4s phones. So i'm wondering if you can do the same with a specific connecting screw. As in one screw that connects the wifi antenna to the pass throughs on the back.

I'm pretty sure one of the antenna cables are slightly open or something along those lines. But i can't really figure out whats actually wrong with it. If i don't have to replace the antenna and the cable for it that would be great. But I can't tell what part is broken with out testing it on another 6. Which I don't have btw.

I've never heard of or read anything about that "solution" for the iPhone 6. But then again, I had never heard of it for the iPhone 4/4S either...whatever that's worth ;>).

One thing that could have happened is that the WiFi antenna flex is partially disconnected. As a matter of fact, I once came across an iPhone that didn't have the connectors properly located on the logic board (factory fresh too!) and therefore this flex wasn't fully connected. It's fairly easy to check, just follow this guide to remove the logic board. While you're at it, check that all of the screws for the upper antenna to insure they are all tight and that there are no signs of corrosion.

Ya thats what I thought, apparently its just something people don't know about it. But none the less thanks for responding. I'll try to check all connectors, seeing as its probably something that simple thats causing it.

@refectio

Sometimes when ppl forgot a small piece (hold by a sreew) in the top plate on 4/4s they lost wifi signal because it was an bridge. So it's not an boost just an other fix then the original part.
