I need an adapter to recover data off of the SSD and can't find one

Hi, I've looked everywhere! I'm trying to recover data from an 655-1857H SSD inside of the macbook pro of my client and cannot seem to find an adapter that IS NOT from a regular nvme to the apple SSD. I need an adapter to go from this apple SSD to pretty much anything else! Please help, thanks.

Tim's answer is correct. I got mine from HongKong, along with assorted ribbon cables for different vendors cards. It was/is basically a D.I.Y. project, inside a PC. It adapted to an master/slave IDE cable.

I have not seen a USB styled adapter for the consumer market. But then, we must forgo our desk fan and our coffee warmer! Zounds !

Try searching alibaba.com and other Asian sites. You may find it.
