My MacBook Pro is dead and not charging-no light on power cord

Yesterday night, I connected the charger cable with my MBP 2014 before I went to sleep because there was only ~15% of battery. Everything worked absolutely fine before that time point. I saw orange LED light on the power cord. Today morning I wake up and surprisingly noticed no green/orange light on the power cord. I tried to power on the MBP normally and there is no sign of life. So I started to do research and did the following -

1. I did rest of SMC. No solution.

2. Opened the aluminum back cover and disconnected the battery connector------->connected the power cord---> no light on the cord----> connected the battery connector----> tried to power on for 30-60 secs. Unfortunately, no sign of life.

3. Then did many combinations of keys and power button ----> no sign of life.

So basically it not charging as well as not turning on.

Please suggest me if you have similar experience and the way to solve it.

There's a chance something has been blown up due to overcharge or incorrect voltage/current control in one of the circuits.

You could try replacing the Magsafe connector board, but as the macbook also doesn't work on battery, you're probably best off letting a AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) take a look at your machine.

One quick update: I connected the charger cable with my MBP for 30 min, wanted to see what happens. Suddenly saw green LED light on the charger cable. Then did SMC reset. I saw sudden change of green light to orange. Also, MBP tried to boot itself. Also saw apple logo on the screen. But no start. Again dead. Any comments or suggestions?

This could mean that the PCB is cracked somewhere, or the battery is just dead-empty. Both of these would be weird, because you only left it to charge.

But the MBP did start, so there's still hope!

I don't really know any more than I already told you... I could suggest leaving the charger in for some more time, but there's a chance you'll damage it further.

Orange light means the battery is full, so that wouldn't suggest a dead battery.
