My Vita 1000 will only boot in safe mode

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me with this. I bought a couple of junk Vita from eBay to salvage for parts, one just needed a couple of buttons swapped out and the second one booted but then shut down. Now it will only boot in recovery mode via the PS button / R trigger / power button trick. I've tried to rebuild database and restore system but no joy. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, cheers!
