Why when blade is engaged it cut about a min. Then cut off.
When blade is engaged on my yt4500 mower about a minute then it will cut off? I replaced the filter and the fuel pump an a fuse.

I am having sort of the same problem except after mowing for about 10 minutes or so the blades will disengage. It seems to have something to do with it reaching a certain temperature because after I turn it off and let it cool off I start it back up and the blades work fine.
If I cut the grass when it is cool out say late st night or early in the morning I don't have this problem at all.
