iPhone 7 Defective Replacement Screen Possibly?
I replaced the cracked screen on my iPhone 7 with a replacement one from iFixit this weekend. The colors were a little less vibrant right off the bat, but were pretty close. No accessibility settings were on. I tried using accessibility settings to get the reds to look more red but to no avail. Today the screen changed to a grayscale only display. I have tried rebooting the phone multiple times, ensuring no accessibility settings are enabled.
I think I may have gotten a defective replacement screen and am bummed that I am going to have to break the seal and replace it again for the phone. That was not easy or fun.
Are there any other non-invasive troubleshooting steps I can perform? When I do enable the accessibility settings and hype out the color/tint I can get the grayscale to be tinted but there is no underlying color.
Please help…

Hi Daniel,
Have you checked that the display accommodation setting is set to off, when a screen fails it does not normally go greyscale, it normally has lines running either vertically or horizontally.
