PC wakes up after sleep but monitors dont display.

Every night I put my computer to sleep, but when I wake it up the next day, it turns on, but the monitors don’t display anything, but its awake as once I had a youtube video playing and when i woke it up it started and it was playing. I just hit the reset button and after it boots up just fine, until it goes to sleep again and then the problem happens again. I havent tried anything yet, but I was wondering if anyone has a similar problem.

I recently changed my ssd and gpu. The gpu is an AMD RX 480, so im not sure if this is driver related or not.

Any help is much appreciated!

Sounds like the Power Options in Control Panel require attention?

Have you changed them?

Can you not get into Safe Mode & check the settings for display in Power Options?

If everything looks ok there, do a system restore to before the problem arose.

I can get into windows just fine after a restart, so safe mode is necessary for checking the settings. Also, I don't think I have the system restore set up, and I don't know when it started, but it has been occurring for a while now. Probably 2 weeks.

If you just upgraded to an SSD i would recommend quitting putting your computer in sleep mode every night rather than just turning it off and turning it on in the morning as it would save you some money on electric bills and also windows 10 with ssd is ultra fast booting up so there is no point in using the sleep mode..

Well, I sometimes like to keep things open overnight so I have them ready when I get home. Its just a convience thing.
