MacBook water damage - fixed, but keyboard still not working
So long story short, I spilled a small amount of tea on my MacBook Air.
I followed everything in the guides and videos I found online - removed battery, put the Mac upside down and let dry, took it all apart and cleaned each component carefully with isopropyl alcohol, let everything dry and put back together - and now everything works properly EXCEPT the keyboard. I plugged in a usb keyboard to test it, and that worked fine.
The only thing I didn’t do in my repair attempt was actually remove the keyboard itself. I got as far as taking the backlight panel off, and I even removed the like 50 screws of the keyboard, but I couldn’t seem to get it out without damaging it so I left it.
Does anybody have any tips on what I should do? Is it safe to remove everything again leaving just the keyboard itself attached to the frame, then soaking it in an isopropyl alcohol bath? Not letting it touch the screen of course.
Thanks for any help!
