It overheating…..Take the back off. use a can of compressed air and a soft paint brush and carefully clean and blow the bust build up off the circuit boards ,,,clean air vents on back panel.. Nake sure it has good air flow…Bust is a real killer to electronics.

I was worried about that.. Those high end graphic cards generate a lot of heat.. Let me ask this… was there a lot of dust on these boards. That's really a rhetorical question. HP built a laptop, the dv 9000. with a high end graphic embedded in the board with a hot running AMD processor///fast, powerful…after about 2 years in service they stated failing by the thousands…By then most of them was out of warrant and the cause was discovered.. excessive dust build up blocking air flow thought the heat sink… HP made a half-heated effort to correct it but they where convinced with the disclaimers issued and disregarded. it was there problem, and they where right. A class action law suit was file and every one jumped on board for the ride…this would have dragged on for years but HP, in the interest of keeping good relationship with future customs, settled. Bottom line is…a little bit of horse sense or common sense, will take you a long ways in this World. Im a Retired A.S.E Master Certified automotive Tech and 90 % of what I did was just common sense. Never went to school one day for it and I had to make my own mistakes Right there in the repair shop.. Those Toshiba LED 3D tv 46TL968 went though a similar law suit at the tune of a 300 million dollar settlement but it was for the led screen and it was the 36 inch. I pulled one out of the trash about 6 years ago with a cracked screen. Took the components out sold them on eBay for close to 400 dollars..

Do you have the specs on voltage input and output. Ill pull up the test diagnostics and research for replacement boards for you.. Those are excellent boards but like I said…..Dust is the number one killer on electronics.. I have a HP g7 pavilion I got new in 2010 with window 7. I still have it. It runs windows 10 enterprise. stills runs great. All because I keep it clean. I maintain the system .. And I have been hard on it. Ive crashed this computer many times. 300 times at the least.. Give me a day or two. That's a good tv I wouldn't trash it..
