Why is my iMac not working?

Hi,

I always put my iMac on sleep when i am not using it once a time when the iMac was on sleep I heard a strange noise like (zeeee,zeeee,zeeee,zzzzz) it's like it want to run or do something and it can't the after half Minutes shows a question mark inside a file

Sounds like your hard drive has failed. Start up from your system installation disk by inserting the disk and starting holding down the "c" key. Go to the second screen pull down menu to Utilities > Disk Utility, and see if you can select the hard drive on the left. If so repair the drive till it runs clear. If not let us know, also if it is still under warranty.

I tried this one the iMac start and eject the CD by it self

About the warranty yes it's under the warranty

Don't touch it. Get the warranty service. It sounds like something besides the hard drive may have failed. I'd also consider getting AppleCare if you don't have it.

But I can't send the whole iMac to AppleCare because i am not in the U.S right now. I can take with me the hard drive . What else may inturrpted and you prefer to take it with me to them

I am in Saudi Arabia I called apple they said we don't have AppleCare here in Saudi Arabia although we have some company said we are dealr of apple.

I'm going to U.S this summer I can take any thing has normal size with me to AppleCare
