Where can I find the 12+16 SSD logic board connector?

I’m helping a friend revive a MBP Pro 2014 from an accidental spill after sternly admonishing him for being a menace to his MacBook Pro while drinking his juice. Luckily, his data is safe, but several pins on the nameless, proprietary 12+16 SSD connector on the logic board are charred for life. I’m planning on replacing it with a new connector.

I’ve read the connector referred to as "gumstick" on the board schematics. I have conducted extensive searches, but I can't find it listed anywhere as a replacement part. I find it surprising given how easy it is to find other connectors and it's vulnerable location for liquid damage. I did find it on a few PCIe adapters, but the profile doesn't provide enough clearance for the bottom cover.

Any ideas where I should look?

I found the connector, though not as a discrete part. It turns out the Mac Mini 2014 has a flex cable featuring the 12-16 connector on one of its end:

From the photo, you can see the connector cleverly disguised with some black electrical wrap covering the metal shield plate.

You probably won’t find it anywhere new, I’ve never seen it for sale..you’ll have to buy a donor board to find one.
