Anti-theft, kicking in.
Try this:
- connect a new or a recently charged battery.
- Close all doors, trunk, and hood.
- unlock car with key, which should start alarm.
- turn key ON and OFF four times, and
- on the forth time, leave key in the “ON” position for two minutes.
- turn key to the OFF position.
Now try to start it.

This answer worked for me!! It crunk right up!!
Thank you to whoever figured this out!!!! It didn’t work on my car. But it stopped the alarm and give me time to fix my key fob.
As my alarm was going off I did have a homeless man throw a stuffed animal at my car! That was nice.
I did this and it worked, but what is wrong and how to fix??
