My Samsung L301 Camera won't take photos anymore.

I had the camera on the beach, and I think some sand must have gotten in it because afterwards it wouldn't allow me to take any photos. The screen still works, along with all the feature buttons. I can still access all the photos on it but it just won't take any new photos or allow use of the zoom button. The lens also doesn't close when I power it off.

Is your memory card or internal memory full?

check around the lens and zoom mechanism for sand and debris that may be fouling the movement

Thank you for your help, I just tried to free the lens up by twisting it slightly and now its taking photos again. Thank you again. :)
